Credit packages are credits sold to the user for use in conversations with the AIs. Each time the user interacts with an AI on the website, their credits are consumed. The consumption is calculated based on the number of characters in the AI's response. For example, if the AI provides a response with 1000 characters, the user will be charged 1000 credits. When the user's credits run out, they will need to recharge by purchasing different packages with varying prices, defined by you.
In addition to buying credit packages, as an administrator, you can designate VIP AIs for specific credit packages. This means you can restrict access to certain AIs only to users who purchase a specific credit package. This configuration can be easily set up during the registration or editing of the credit packages.
To add a credit package, use the "Add new credit package" button or edit an existing credit package.
Next, we will see the settings for each field:
Image:
This is the visual representation of the credit package and will be displayed on the purchase page. We recommend a size of 256x256 pixels in PNG format.
Name/Label:
This is the name that will be displayed for the credit package.
Currency Code:
Enter the three letters that represent your currency, for example: USD (US Dollar), BRL (Brazilian Real), AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham). If you have any doubts, consult the documentation to find your currency code at: [link to Stripe documentation on currency codes]
Amount:
In the amount field, the value must always be expressed in cents. So, if you want to charge 10 dollars, you should enter 1000 in the field.
Price Label:
In this field, you can write it however you prefer, for example: 10$. It's just a label to display the prices.
Credits:
This field represents the amount of credits that will be assigned to the user's account after purchasing the package.
Tier:
The tier represents different hierarchical levels of the price package. For example, the most affordable package can be referred to as tier 1, the second more expensive level would be tier 2, the next one tier 3, and so on. The tier is relevant if you want to allow users to access bots from previous packages, in case they have a package from a higher level. This option can be controlled through the settings menu » VIP.
Lists:
You can add or remove lists of benefits, and this information will be displayed in a list format in the package description.
Manage VIP Access:
You can choose which AIs will be included in this package, which means that to interact with these AIs, the user will need to purchase this specific package. If you do not link any AI to any package, the AI will be available for free.
